My Grandson has been a part of the Buttercup Family from being 5 months old and at 10 years of age he continues to have before and after school sessions and school holiday fun. Karl and Lia’s dedication to bringing a fantastic learning environment, with different experiences everyday, has helped shape my Grandson’s pathway into full time school and beyond. I’ve followed his journey with amazement at the creativity and resourcefulness that goes into the planning and preparation for each and every session. Above all is the caring and loving environment which is what makes Buttercups so special and unique.

I honestly could not ask for anyone better to care for my children for me. Lia and Karl go above and beyond! They are not like any other childcare provider. They take the children as part of their family (not just the children parents too ) They teach and explore every single day. Lia and Karl have taken my children to so many places on so many lovely adventures, creating lasting memories. Most of all I know 100% my children are in safe, loving and caring hands while they are at buttercup lane. I couldn’t do it without them and I thank them from the bottom of my heart for caring so wonderfully for my world, while I work xx

Buttercup Lane Childminders have attended Born Explorers Forest School every Friday since September. From day one I could see how passionate you both were, and how much you care and love the children. You go above and beyond every single day to make sure all children (Pre-School and school aged children) get access to the most amazing experiences, resources and day trips as possible. You are always one step ahead, planning how you can make the most out of every minute of every day. When the buttercups are not exploring the world we live in Lia and Karl provide amazing learning opportunities for every single child in their care. Differentiated towards each individual child and their specific learning need. They cover all areas of learning in their lovely homely setting, offering children great learning opportunities to develop and improve in all early learning goals. They promote self-esteem, creativity, confidence, independence, risk taking, child centred learning and exploring through play. The work Lia and Karl do for the community is inspiring. The money you have raised for cash for kids is so inspirational. You are both selfless and are genuinely two of the most amazing people I have ever met. Thank you for attending my sessions. You have both inspired me to be the best I can be. I can honestly say the children are so happy in your care. You truly love each child as your own and I would have absolutely loved it if you were my own children's childminders when they were little. Leaving your child in the care of strangers is the most daunting thing we do as parents. It was nearly 10 years ago that we met Karl and Lia for the first time and they put us both at ease straight away. My boys have had so much fun at Buttercup lane childminders. They have been well cared for and loved. Not to mention all of the fabulous days out and activities they have been treated to with them. I can’t recommend Buttercup Lane Childminders highly enough, Lia & Karl always go above & beyond to give their Buttercups so many wonderful experiences/Days out whilst providing a loving home from home setting. My daughter is very advanced with her learning which I know is down to the wide range of fun educational activities Lia & Karl provide for the children everyday. My daughter is always so happy & excited to be going to Buttercups and I’m sure she’d go 7 days a week if she could.
