We tasked bush builders to build our house extension and they delivered on this admirably. They came in on budget (even with the materials shortages / covid / whatever else) as well as being clean, tidy and efficient throughout the months of work, they even worked around our schedule of moving out so that the works could be completed prompty. We were only a few weeks over but this was down to getting plumbers and electricians to site. They all know their stuff too - even to the point of arguing the toss with the structural engineer about what is required and when what they wanted was just plain madness well recommended and welcome back anytime, although i have no plans to to any more extension work here Services: Fan installation, Roof building, Plumbing fixture installation, Tile work replacement, Consultation, Flooring, Roof installation, Electrical work, Interior finishing, Home extension services, Foundation pouring, Waterproofing, Home renovations, Drywall installation, Install flooring, Concrete pouring, Paint indoors, Home building

We bought our new home with the plan to completely renovate it and do a large 2 storey side and large single storey rear extension. After getting the plans drawn up and planning permission granted we spoke with 6 builders and we quickly narrowed it down to Dave as the one we wanted to go with. We felt comfortable with him, he seemed honest, straight forward and easy to talk to. The major work started in December 2020, they worked through the snow that Christmas, navigated all the problems with COVID and building supplies. It was pretty much finished in the summer of 2021. We couldn’t be happier with the way it finished and it was just what we wanted. Dave was able to solve quite a few problems along the way simply through his years of experience but always kept us informed. He even managed to save us several thousand pounds after speaking with the planning officer (in person) and agreeing a minor change to the depth of the foundations…… TOP MAN I would highly recommend him and all of the guys that work for him. Bush Builders have been a pleasure to work with and their work is outstanding. They managed our single story extension and fitted our new kitchen whilst re-decorating our home as well. Having building work on such a large scale was scary for me and my wife however Dave, Ricky, Dan, Julian, George, Vern, Sam and Phil (sure I am missing a lot of the team) made the experience effortless. They were always on hand to help and were very professional. With a 12month old son they also worked around our needs and made sure our day to day living was not impacted. The finishing on the work was fantastic and I could not highly recommend them enough. Truly an honest team that is rare to find. Bush builders completed a single storey extension, kitchen refit and new toilet shower room to our property. On first meeting Dave we went with our instinct and did not regret it. He is extremely professional, approachable and his knowledge comes from years of experience in the industry. His team of builders are a credit to his business. They were polite, attentive and craftsmen of the utmost experience and quality. Building work in your home is a stressful experience but every effort was made to keep disruption to a minimum. We are so pleased with the finished result and would not hesitate to recommend Bush Builders to anyone! It was well worth it! Other builders came and quoted but I doubt we would have had the finish to the standard we now live in!

I used Bush Builders to carry out an extension to my property. Prior to using Bush Builders I invited others builders some promised the world, some priced the job really cheap and others far too high. Having found Dave through Which? I felt reassured of their credentials and asked him to come and visit. He came on the day and time we agreed and from our initial conversation I had a very good feeling about his company. As I have never undertaken any building projects before I had loads of questions which Dave went through with me in detail. The quote he provided was very reasonable, the quote included a breakdown of where the money was being spent. After agreeing with the quote and a start date for the work, he got his team started on the work. Every single person who worked on the extension was really helpful and nice. The standard of work was very high. Whenever any problems occurred Dave was always on hand to help without fuss and without asking for extra money!! There was always a solution to a problem. The build was completed on budget and on time. Based on my experience I also asked Dave to fit out the kitchen - again this was done at a very reasonable cost and at a good standard, whenever I changed my design plan or alterations the guys Dave used never got annoyed or angry unlike some other builders who are just in a rush to finish a job and move onto the next. Even up to now I still contact Dave for various different house work small or big he has never let me down. I know job reviews are very important to traders and also customers, I can genuinely say Bush Builders are one of the best in the business. I cannot thank Dave and his team for what they have done!!! I have told friends and family if they ever needed any projects completed to contact Bush Builders.
