The roads were certainly interesting on the way to this beautiful gem. But my word what a beautiful location, the building and grounds were phenomenal, the staff are wonderful and friendly. The food, well, words can't describe the sheer delight in my face with every morse. lt is something even the finest bards and poets would struggle to comprehend. I would highly recommend this glorious establishment to anyone and everyone.

Breakfast was amazing and not a buffet. Service was great and attentive. Think 3 stars a little mean, shame no pool as the location is quite isolated. Don't think it would require much to get a fourth star. I dropped a star because my bed was horrible, far too soft for my liking and I woke up with backache. However, that is a personal preference. I will definitely book again when I return to the area in the spring but would request a firmer mattress.
