Do not trust this seller. Very poor, carpet had been bashed around and folded, even had some black slime on it which has stained some of the joinery in my house. As I’m sure most would do; I unrolled this large carpet when the carpet fitter arrived, unfortunately we found the product was tatty on the inside and had holes in it. I instructed them to fit the carpet anyway as they were onsite and I had paid for their time regardless - I couldn’t see this piece of material being any use to Burts if returned (this would explain a lot!) so it seemed a ‘no brainer’. Burts offered no resolution. I now have a carpet with a big crease down the middle where it was folded, HOLES in several areas and Burts have stopped responding. Burts initial response was “we can’t do a lot since you have fitted it which is against our terms and conditions”. Aside from that being ridiculous, I had acted reasonably in good faith ( not many domestic customers would have the space inside to unpackage a 20m squared piece of material, inspect it and package it back up suitably ready for a carpet fitter to attend ) I would argue that I was totally miss-sold an item which was not as described which infringes on my statutory rights . Unlike buying online from other vendors where they would also arrange a fitter it seems Burts are exploring their ‘supply only’ position to lump the customer with defective goods. I’m going to pursue this via alternate routes since Burts have stopped responding. On the outside chance their internal Communications have broken down perhaps they’ll find the message here.

The quality of the flooring I ordered is fine - good price and fit for purpose. My issue is that I ordered my flooring for my photography studio. It wasn't dleivered on the date it should have been, and when it was delivered I wasnt in so it was left on my driveway for anyone to take. It had also been folded in half presumably to get it in the van. So I had a 4metre length of white vinyl flooring with an enormous and very obvious fold all the way through the middle. I called three times and emailed twice to try and discuss this with someone. I had to lay the floor to reopen my studio, and the crease is extremely deep. Still no one has made contact with me about this and frankly it's disgusting customer service (well actually, a complete lack of customer service!). I very very rarely leave reviews of any kind, but in the absence of any communication whatsoever from the company I feel like I need to give some warning to anyone ordering from them.

I have ordered 3 items but received 2 no information about carpet delivery. I did conatct on e-mail and on the phone.Nothing change I don`t know whats going on with my order. Be carefull with this company might be scam. People here is solution for company Burts: REPORTING TO THE TRADING STANDARDS
