Burstimo does exactly what they say they're going to do for you. I came in a bit skeptical after hearing from others about PR companies not delivering on their promises in general. From the early stages of us talking about potentially working together, Burstimo already felt different. Correspondence never felt generic. Feedback was always curated specifically to me and my music. When it comes to marketing, this really felt like an education, and I learned a lot about the nuances of marketing to potential fans in the right way. It's expensive, but 100% worth it if you take it seriously and work with them as a team. My advice to anyone considering working with Burstimo is to have a collection of micro-content ready to go a head of the campaign start date. This way their team can help form a social media release strategy for that content. We did this for the release of Midnight Avila's anime music video for "I Don't Want to Know." I had a good experience working with Burstimo. I hired them for a playlisting campaign on my debut single, and they did a great job in securing a fair number of playlists. They also advised me on how to improve my Spotify profile in order to increase my chances of being discovered by listeners. Communication with them was smooth and nice. Overall, it was a beneficial collaboration, which helped increase the number of my monthly listeners on Spotify.

They have a truly unparalleled system involving their own playlists, partner playlists, and social media, that helps independent artists grow their audiences in a deep and sustainable way. After 8 weeks of joint work with Sinead, Charles, and the team, we now have reusable marketing assets on social media, a working system in place that we continue to use independently to promote our music, and a whole lot of in-depth knowledge. I had a mixed experience with Burstimo. I signed up to a 4 week campaign for £2,000 plus VAT and was expecting fantastic results. Their strategy is to place your music on their own playlists and then target listeners on social media. Unfortunately they only generated 7,166 streams whereas the other company I used generated over double that in the same amount of time (Noiselash). Half way through the campaign they became slow to respond to emails and would only respond at the end of the day and sometimes 2 days later. I received documents with strategies and some of the information on them was incorrect and it felt that they had copied and pasted things from other clients. I am disappointed as this was a lot of money for me and I have been following the founders on tiktok for a while now.
