From the very first contact Kim was incredible. I’m a bigger girl and I was absolutely terrified they’d have nothing in my size. I was so nervous that my mum rang the shop (yes I’m in my 30’s and my mum is still doing these things, haha) - Kim was so reassuring and spoke through every part of the day. She made sure we had her on the day and I found my dream dress! Burr Bridal is a wonderful shop and I will definitely recommend it to any friends in the future! I had my first appointment at Burr Bridal in September and was very lucky to have Lisa helping me on the day. Lisa not only welcomed myself as the Bride, but also welcomed the whole of my bridal party with open arms making us feel very comfortable. Lisa listened to what I was looking for in my wedding dress, provided advice and most importantly reassurance on what can be a very exciting but nervous experience trying on a wedding dress for the first time. Once I had said ‘yes to the dress’, Lisa then helped me pick the most perfect veil to match my dress and offered me further accessories to try on. I felt fully at ease with Lisa, she is very knowledgable, personable and I felt that she really understood how big of a moment it is for a Bride to buy her wedding dress. I would recommend Burr Bridal to any Bride to Be and can’t wait to see Lisa again for my fitting in the Summer!

I’m still having therapy from visiting this shop. I went in, was obviously judged for being a curvy bride - the lady (don’t know her name ) who “assisted “ me said she didn’t want to let me try on a fishtail mermaid dress as she said that I would be a representative of this shop and she wouldn’t want people whispering “who let her wear that dress , it looks awful ‘ and therefore bring the shop into disrepute . My maid of honour who was with me was absolutely shocked that this had been said , we swiftly left to find nicer people. Do yourself a favour and represent nicer people and better shops …
