I bought a Kalfire gas fire from Burning Desires. Their price was £3000 more than Blackpool Fireplace Warehouse for the exact same fire. They begrudgingly matched the other price and said the other supplier was breaking approved supplier rules. After a few weeks we noticed a fault in the glass where a black bubble was present and a crack - I was told this was impossible (until they saw the fault) it cost £500 for new glass and I was told - you should have checked it upon delivery. Really? Unwrap every element before the van left? I expected better.

I recently visited looking for fresh ideas. I was made to feel welcome by two sales reps ..Mike and Barry. The showroom was also busy with other customers, always a good sign!..but yet I was not rushed to make decisions. The showroom is over two floors with a variety of fires to choose from ie...gas, electric, wood burners, smokeless fuel etc...you can see many of the displays live and working. The service provided was efficient and effective. A recent change in owner means that there will be changes within in the layout and design of the showroom over the coming months. I certainly recommend a visit here as it is the best showroom I have found in and around the region.

Sales agent judged me on the way i look. Came in wearing tracksuit bottoms and a tshirt, wasnt even interested in serving me whatsoever. Came in to look at a 10k fireplace. Business went elsewhere. Dont judge a book by its cover. Schmuk!! Take my advice and go elsewhere unless u come in looking like george clooney.
