FAQ

What safety measures do you have in place to ensure the well-being of the campers?

At Burlish Top Nature Reserve, we take the safety of our campers very seriously. We have a strict set of safety protocols that we follow, including regular inspections of our facilities, equipment, and activities. We also ensure that all of our staff are fully trained and certified in first aid and emergency procedures. We have security measures in place to protect our campers, including 24-hour supervision and a secure gated entrance.

What are the types of activities offered at your camp?

We offer a wide range of activities to keep our campers engaged and entertained throughout their stay. Some of our most popular activities include hiking, fishing, kayaking, archery, and arts and crafts. We also offer educational activities such as nature walks and wildlife observation. Our goal is to provide something for everyone, so we're always adding new activities to our lineup.

What is the age range of campers that you cater to?

We cater to campers of all ages, from young children to teens and even adults. Our programs are tailored to different age groups, so everyone can find something that interests them. We have separate programs for children aged 6-12 and teenagers aged 13-17. We also offer family camping packages for those who want to enjoy the great outdoors together.

What is the camper-to-counselor ratio at your camp?

We maintain a low camper-to-counselor ratio to ensure that each camper receives individual attention and support. Our ratio is typically 6 campers to 1 counselor for our younger campers, and 8 campers to 1 counselor for our older campers. This allows us to provide a safe and supportive environment where campers can learn and grow.

What is your policy on refunds in case of cancellations?

We understand that plans can change, and we do our best to accommodate cancellations whenever possible. If a camper needs to cancel their stay, we offer a full refund up to 14 days prior to the start of the program. After that time, we offer a partial refund based on the number of days remaining until the start of the program. Please see our website for our full refund policy.
