Burford has made a great many improvements over the years. The cafe/restaurant is really very nice. They have a vast selection of plants, gardening supplies, and a lovely little shop to browse. The grounds are lovely and there is plenty of parking. The one thing that really let it down were the toilets. They were horrible, dark, tatty, and not smelling very nice.

Five adults came on Tuesday, 30th May & had lunch in the cafe. We were extremely disappointed, the pea & mint soup was like musy peas, only no so tasty. The quiches were very small & the crust was hard, so overall very expensive for very little quantity & quality. The garden & garden centre was really good. The
