Nice inner city primary school with connecting door in the nursery playground into St Stephen's Church. Both the school and the connecting church were designed and built by Charles Dickens and Baroness Angela Burdett-Coutts for the education of fallen women and their offspring to enable them to find better work. There is a beautiful full-sized portrait of the Baroness with her dog in the upper hall within the school. Has a small nature garden with a pond in the junior's playground, dedicated to the remembrance of Mr Dancer an ex headmaster. On the opposite side of the road is The Royal Horticultural Halls.
