We were very happy with the work Bumfords had done at our previous house in South Yorkshire and wanted them to do the replacement boiler & heating system in our "new" (18th century) house near Matlock. It was a fairly big job (over a week) and not straightforward but Robin took the time to assess the requirement and came up with a very good proposal. The engineers, Phil and Joe, then did a fantastic job to get everything in and up and running with the minimum of disruption. All in all, Bumfords were excellent and we highly recommend them. last week our old back boiler packed in from old age, we informed Bumfords who came out the next day and advised that we should have a combi boiler installed in the tank cupboard, and an electric fire put in the fire place. We thought we would have to wait without heating and hot water for about three to four weeks, but to our surprise we received a call on Friday saying they would be coming on the following Monday. On Monday the plumber and his lad started work, and by Tuesday afternoon had the heating and hot water up and running with all carpets back down and looking as if their had been no disruption at all, Had to return on Friday to install the electric fire but this was because they were waiting for the fire we had ordered.
