We had a warm welcome from Sue at the farm, the accommodation is clean and dog-friendly. A super location for walking and mountain biking and horse riding too I would guess, although I can’t ride a horse! Sue’s son has a coffee shop/snack bar on-site which serves a very good flat white and is rightfully a huge hit with both locals and cyclists alike. Two really good pubs in the village as well.

We stopped when we saw sign on the road. Amazing how many cyclist were there. They had music blaring and straw bales to sit on. It was limited menu but we didnt mind as all we wanted was coffee. It was my first bought coffee since lockdown. It tasted so good. And they had alternative milks too. Bonus.

From the moment I arrived sue made me feel right at home throughout my stay and nothing was too much trouble! The room was absolutely immaculate and had a lot of original character of the place like beautiful oak beams throughout. The bed was amazingly comfortable and really nice shower, the view from the room was very picturesque when I woke in the morning and the cooked breakfast was rather scrumptious! The ground Columbian coffee I must add was the nicest coffee I’ve ever had! My stay was genuinely the loveliest experience I’ve ever had of any hotel or B&B and Sue really does deserve full credit, I will be coming back again just to stay a weekend at the farm, it was lovely 😊
