What a fantastic place to stay ! Jenny was a great host and couldn't be more welcoming. The place was so well-equipped, modern and cozy with everything a family could possibly need. I can certainly imagine this being a great weekend break for couples and families alike or even a perfect getaway for large families. Would thoroughly recommend this place to anyone.

We were looking for an appropriate Monday to Friday accommodation that was not only wheelchair friendly, but was also one that would mirror our standards of living. Bullock Farm delivered on both - and then some.!! Our lovely host Jenny, very kindly sourced a toilet frame and shower chair. Without these two essential items our stay would have been impossible. We were greeted by beautiful fresh flowers and homemade lemon verbena shortbread. Plus a very cute little cup holding some fresh verbena leaves to make a herbal tea. This was something that we had never tried before that resulted in a refreshing change from our usual Rooibos and Earl Grey. If you’re looking for a place to stay that has both class and is very well designed then why not try this beautiful gem of a find a try. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. Thank you for your very thoughtful personal touches Jenny. It was very much appreciated. Oh by the way - I’m sourcing a lemon verbena plant as you have converted us.!! Good health and happiness to you and your family. Kind regards Annette & Les

We hired all 3 barns for my sons wedding weekend and they were simply perfect. The location is stunning and Jenny was always speedy with responding to emails and super helpful with requests for recommendations of local services like luxury cars, hairdessers etc., The Barns are beautifully furnished, well equipped and super clean which made our weekend of hosting a group of 12 very chilled out. Switching out for the Groom for another guest on the Saturday was no issue, with fresh laundry being delivered with a no problem attitude. We had a chef come in to cook and serve a 4 course pre-wedding dinner for 12 on the Friday and return to provide a running brunch on the morning of the wedding, which made my weekend of hosting a large party enjoyable rather than the stressful experience it could so easily have been. We used the middle barn 'Fox Hatch' as the hub house for the weekend as this is fully equipped for 12, whilst giving people other spaces to chill out in away from the 'party' if they needed it. We just need another weekend event in Essex so that we can return!

We stayed at the Bullocks Farm for a few weeks and loved our visit. The location is very scenic and a delight to wake up to each morning and the apartments are clean and beautifully presented. Jenny, our host, made us feel incredibly welcome and made every effort to make sure that our stay was pleasant including welcoming us with her delicious baking/desserts. Our kids really enjoyed seeing the sheep and chickens on the farm and on most days we’d see deers wandering across the field from the confines of the apartment - what a truly lovely sight! Highly recommended.

Just returned from a fantastic week here. Arrived to be greeted by a warm loaf of fresh bread, softened butter, 6 local eggs and a beautiful vase of flowers, we felt immediately at home. Lovely place to use as a base for touring the countryside. Gorgeous view across the fields, lovely airy space in Millers Barn, sat eating breakfast in the sunlight very relaxing. Well equipped, with everything we could want. Shops handy, plenty of eating out choices local, all in all an ideal staycation, hopefully will be able to visit again. Thank you
