Without question the Bucherer in Selfridges in run by a group of staff who all act in an unprofessional manner. They ignore waiting lists and sell to their friends or force you to buy jewellery you don’t want. My personal experience is that the sales people are only motivated by personal gifts and gift vouchers or brown envelopes to ‘boost’ their earnings. The manager of the boutique works with their staff and collude with One Hyde Park and Covent Garden and manipulate the sales journey to profit. Rolex HQ in London are totally aware of this and have done nothing to stamp out this. The sales person I dealt with told me everything that was happening at the boutique - they prime you and then put you in a situation of having to buy gifts to get the watches you want. Very very corrupt.

Awful customer service. I was enquiring about a £4,000 watch and they gave me a ripped piece of paper not big enough to wrap a chewed gum to write my contact details on it. Bucherer, buy your staff some notepads and pens because this is a complete embarrassment.

This place has the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered in my life. I’ve left my ring to be resized here, two months has past, while I kept calling for update, no one has ever gotten back to me (no one even knows where the ring is or what the solution is). I was quite shocked by the unprofessional customer service as well as the lack of problem solving ability here. If you can get the same product elsewhere, try to avoid at all cost!!!

Copied and pasted here - my review of Bucherer-Selfridges - still no response to date in spite of their online team suggesting I email them on the hyperlink they pasted! : If there was a zero star option I would’ve picked it! Bought a Zenith El Primero Defy 21 in mid August 2022. Within a few days the watch was sent back as the chrono buttons were faulty. After numerous emails and a lot of prompting from my end, I finally received notification in mid December that the watch was ready for collection. In spite of my chat with Nan the floor manager when I dropped off the watch in August, the service department were obstructive and unhelpful at best! Matt from service emailed back saying they do not send watches overseas (I’m from South Australia and really did not want to make a 11500km trip just to pick up a watch but had no choice!) notwithstanding the conversation I had with the floor manager! I was on a family holiday in spain and had to make a side trip to London yesterday just to pick up the watch today! If Bucherer at Selfridges continue this horrendous lack of service and blatant breach of the Consumer act 2015, I would suggest strongly that you stop accepting any sales to tourists! A sales transaction esp for a luxury item should go far beyond money exchange! It’s a relationship that’s built with trust and time and guess what, this experience has not strengthened my resolve to NEVER shop at Selfridges again! Edit 13/2/2023 - Bucherer online team response was to email them - I did on same day and YET to hear from anyone there, similar experience to prior to me posting this review! Confirms what I thought - transaction made, they lose interest!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Spoken to a few Sales Assistants over my past visits: Volkan, Nathan and Vlad were all a pleasure to talk to. I enjoyed getting to know them and talking about watches. I really appreciated their honest and knowledgeable insights. Great service.

Booked an Introduction to Rolex with Arnis who was very patient and polite, learnt a lot about the stories and function behind each Rolex watch. Truly a great experience for anyone that wants to learn more about Rolex

I was excited to buy a ring to match my earrings from Bucherer and to mark the achievement of passing my psychology MSc but was left feeling upset, frustrated and deflated by the whole experience. Despite going in to store several times, calling and texting, the wrong colour gold ring was ordered. To be made to feel guilty that it was ‘specially ordered for me’ was completely unacceptable. What was meant to be a fun shopping experience, turned out to be completely difficult and invalidating from start to end. I won’t be returning.

I had been waiting quite a while to purchase my Tudor Bucherer, and when I finally made the trip down, Marcio instantly made me feel like I was there for a special experience. He took customer service to a whole new level, along with the aid of his wonderful manager Aaron. Buying this watch was a big deal for me and they made it as exciting as I always hoped it would be! Thank you so much guys, I hope to be back in the future.

My experience of the Bucherer Store in Oxford St, London and the Manageress Hoda Michael leads me to think customer care needs working on ! I was forced to buy £700 of jewellery I didn’t want otherwise they wouldn’t sell me the watch I ordered ! I was blackmailed into having to buy these ear rings just to collect my watch. I was then told by the salesperson for the next watch I would have to buy Hoda Michael Louboutin Shoes or an expensive Handbag and give them to her as a personal gift !!! This boutique only sells to ‘Flippers’ which is obvious by the number of their watches at Grey Market Dealers. There is no question this Boutique is corrupt. I even recorded the whole meeting on my iphone as proof to show the MD Adrian Maronneau of Bucherer in London. He has no interest whatsoever- which shows customer care is zero !
