If you or members of your family are interested in having a ride whilst you're in this area then I thoroughly recommend this Riding Centre. Based in truly beautiful countryside with direct riding access to the moors the centre caters for all skills levels including my novice 7 and 9 yo ADHD boys. They were booked in for 2.5 hours, enjoyed grooming and tacking up as well as riding out, and 3 days later they're still talking about going for their next trip. The staff were brilliant with my two, and amusingly I had to remind them that I needed to pay them which just showed me that their focus was on the experience. It's also worth mentioning that with the higher cost of living I was shocked at how fair the price was! We don't live in the area but this could be the clincher for us returning. Our two 6yo children enjoyed a great introductory ride here while on holiday. The horses were small and well-behaved, staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the 30-min trek up the hill into the beautiful countryside was great. Highly recommended.

My partner and I had a great ride here. He's never been on a horse before and enjoyed the experience. Lou, who took us out was lovely and lively and full of chat. My horse's behaviour was impeccable (Harry), and Brannagon(?) was pretty good too, although a little eager for my inexperienced boyfriend. Both horses had nice, friendly personalities and were clearly healthy and happy. Great views from the hill too!
