I really really want to write a post about Bruce’s doggy day care . I joined only 3 weeks ago putting my 7 month old cockapoo Bobby in puppy preschool at doggy daycare at Bruce’s. How any one can have a bad or negative review on Bruce’s I don’t know . Everything that they advertise they’ve done . So so helpful when ever I called them , didn’t demand payment before Bobby started , and as for the doggy school bus I signed for absolutely amazing Thomas the driver is one of the nicest caring professional I’ve met for a long time. I can only afford two days a week for Bobby but if I could afford more days I would love Bobby and my other cockapoo to go more . Take a look at there website. Really is for the love of dogs .

Called quite a few times now, left message on answer phones and spoken to people that say they will get someone to contact me, but no one ever has. I can only guess they don't want anymore business

The actual daycare for my dogs was wonderful, it's the administration and communication that is an issue. First, my dogs rode the daycare bus but after a year I was asked to not have my dogs ride the bus due to them barking. Ok, so I get how that can be stressful when you are driving. Their driver had come up with a plan to try to alleviate this and I kept asking how it was working. The response was always 'ok' ... then out of the blue, a phone call to not have them on the bus anymore. Where was the communication to me that the distractions were not working? Then I was billed the same amount as those who use the bus service, but when I asked why I was told "unfortunately there is no additional cost for the bus service". WHAT?? When I first signed up a year earlier I took the dogs myself and paid less. I asked why it is different now and no response EVER. So you want me to continue to pay for a service you have declined to me, AND you want me to continue to pay for all the upkeep on your vehicles and supplementing your other clients cost? Finally, I have asked for my house key back and it's been 2 weeks with no key returned - I see Bruce's van on my street all the time so it's not like it is out of the way to drop it off. Again, care is great, pricing is some what curious and responses to my concerns go unanswered. Beware!

Awful place. Explained about my dog being anxious and not to be left on his own. On the trial 2 hours he was left on his own, turned up and he was in an awful state. I could provide lots more details but it would be very lengthy. Their response was they are under staffed and not qualified to deal with anxious dogs .. how worrying they are even allowed to run a doggy day care

They have had new management this year and it is even more disorganised than before! They turn up for our dogs when they’re not meant to, forget to come when they are meant to, and our dogs have come back with injuries sadly. That was the last straw and we are glad to have said bye to this company who seemingly have taken on more than they can handle.
