We visited and spoke to umpteen flooring shops. Some won't even allow you to take samples away, which is pretty remarkable. This shop was great. Relaxed, more than happy to take as many samples as we wanted and gave us honest and straightforward advice. Came out to measure up ( obviously they had to) but nothing was too much trouble. Fitters were expert and great - we had vinyl tiles and the concrete which was terrible in places needed screeding - one shop even said we would need for 2 screeds which was nonsense. One issue subsequently arose which was sorted out. Pleased and v happy to recommend Browns.

Brown's of Alton removed our existing carpets and fitted new carpets into two bedrooms and a study. They were excellent from start to finish. Barry was really helpful when we visited the showroom. He then came out on the same day, measured up and gave us a good quote. They communicated well, keeping us advised of what to expect and when. The carpets were fitted over two days, to suit us. The work was very professional and super clean. I would have no hesitation in using Browns of Alton again or recommending them. We are really pleased with our new carpets.
