I wouldn't recomend this place no one. Staff members banishes kids on the garden even outside is -6 during the winter. Most children run a runny nose, some children eat what comes out of their nose. children only go there and do what they want and consequently they get bored and beat (it's normal for the staff). They don't learn anything there, they don't have routines. Staff members don't control children at all.

I don't know what could have prompted another reviewer to rate this nursery 'poor - fair'! Better look at the last Ofsted report available online which gives a much fairer assessment of this brilliant nursery. I was lucky enough to spend a whole day at this state nursery recently and find it really excellent. It has a high proportion of qualified teachers - more so than a private (day) nursery will have. Thee grounds are large, and very good use is made of outside space. The facilities are great. Children are able to be outside all day if they wish, and waterproof outerwear and wellies are available. There are a great many different kinds of activities, outdoor and indoor, that the children can engage in to extend their various life skills and knowledge. The 3 classrooms are interlinked, allowing children to move quite freely between them. The nursery has good links with parents, and for example has a rota of volunteers coming in to read a story to a class. Brookhill has a lovely atmosphere, with happy confident children involved in a rich diversity of learning experiences. I would be very happy for my children to go here!
