Regarding the gym. The equipment is ageing and outright broken in some instances. It's OK but there are cheaper and more modern options in Oxford. They do take cleanliness seriously during covid times. The staff are excellent. The pool is OK but it's close to impossible to get a booking slot if you want to lane swim. I noticed, as a slow swimmer, the speed of the lanes wasn't always enforced which is irritating. Beware the parking. There is a constant shark swimming around waiting to plaster tickets on unsuspecting motorists despite the generous space they have up there.

Brookes sport is a great gym facility. There is a wide range of activities, classes and facilities on offer to suit most tastes and needs. The staff are friendly and very helpful. There is plenty of parking as well should you need it.
