    I have a very nervous dog and the vet friendly clinics with Maggie have been really beneficial. My dog has gone from being very nervous and upset, refusing to go near anybody, to being really pleased to see Maggie each week and allowing people to treat him. Maggie has also given me advice on how to help him feel happier and more confident when we are out on walks and at home, and my dog is now noticeably more comfortable in different situations. I now don’t have to worry if my dog needs treatment in the future as everyone at Brookend has been lovely, and he’s now much happier when we go to the vets, which I never thought would happen.

    We have been to Brookend vets for years but recently we have really appreciated their help. Our newest pup is quite a handful and anxious at the vets. We now have one to ones with Maggie one of the nurses weekly and the difference in our dogs behaviour when visiting the vets is amazing. We have gone from barking and shaking when arriving to actually being excited to visit. We still have a way to go but I’m sure we will get there. Without their help I’m not sure how we would get our dog in for any treatment. The team are brilliant!

    I have been visiting Maggie at Brookend for nurse friendly clinics for around 5 months now and I cannot thank her enough for how patient and incredible she has been with my miniature dachshund. Axel came to Brookend terrified of the vets in general. It was always a very stressful experience for us both, he wouldn’t even cross the threshold of the door into reception as he was so scared of what was to come. He now can’t wait to get through the doors and see Maggie and always greets her with a wagging tail. He has come so far and has recently had his booster injections with absolutely no fuss at all which I would have never envisioned happening 5 months ago. I am truly amazed at how Maggie has turned his attitude around and I will be forever grateful for her kindness, knowledge, perseverance and patience. And to all the nurses and vets who drop in to say hello to Axel and give him treats, thank you. Couldn’t recommend nurse friendly clinics at Brookend more if your dog struggles at the vets. 🏼
