We spent a very pleasentv hour and a half with Mike who showed us around the collection. Mike is extremely knowledgeable about collection and it was really interesting learning about the fruits and their origins.

Lovely walk through the orchards.Lots of different types of fruit trees. Lovely to visit on a sunny day, would be great when the tree's are in fruit.

This site has a very good café and it is probably worth booking a table during the spring and summer months. Popular place for dog walkers and cyclists. There is also a nice selection of small, independent retail outlets. A small gauge steam railway is available during the summer, but check their website for details.

A great collection of quality meat and products. Very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful professional staff. Pricy, but worth it with the quality of meat you get. This visit I bought some wonderful Barnsley lamb chops (really thick too) and a wonderful ham, which I steeped and roasted with a glaze at home, beautiful meat (and they did me a good deal on the ticket price!!)
