I have had many delicious takeaways from Brockley's Rock, but last night I was disappointed and angered by the absolutely huge price charged for a portion of large chips - £6.15 - compared to the paltry serving given. We ordered two servings of large chips at £12.30!! (along with 4 fish and three vegan substitutes), which previously have left us more than replete. This time, however, a single serving did not even fill the smaller polystyrene container in which it came and we had to resort to counting out the chips to ensure fair, but inadequate shares! This is simply unacceptable. For comparison, I was looking at West End restaurants and found £6 charged for chips at a very high end place. I understand our fiat currency is fabricated and worthless, but amongst ourselves, the little people, who are not racketeering banksters, we must try not fall into the greed trap. Chips are just potatoes and potatoes are very cheap and easy to grow.

Awesome fish n chips!! I wasn’t expecting half a cod, but there it was. Their homemade tartar sauce was TO DIE for. Will be returning the next time I’m in London. :)

Great sausage and chips. A little bit of a queue outside but with it being a nice day wasn’t a bad wait

(Translated by Google) We had two fish and chips, all gluten free, to take away. Super generous portions and really crunchy and good batter. We ordered at the counter and waited in the shop and with limited waiting times given the preparation itself. Excellent packaging that kept the dishes hot despite a good half hour by bus. (Original) Abbiamo preso da asporto due fish and chips tutto gluten free. Porzioni super abbondanti e pastella veramente croccante e buona. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free

(Translated by Google) Driven by the many positive reviews we crossed the city to try Brockley's rock fish and chips. We opted for two portions, going for the classic cod and haddock, plus a portion of chips and mushy peas (all fried in a gluten free version). Huge portions, spectacular batter, super crunchy, flavorful, and gorgeous fish. Slightly disappointed by the potatoes, not very crunchy, but the long journey back has contributed to making them more tender due to the humidity accumulated in the thermal containers, certainly our problem. The best mushy peas I've had in many years. Below average prices and friendly staff. Highly recommended. Eating it by the Thames at sunset was the perfect setting. Highly recommended. I migliori mushy peas mai mangiati in tanti anni. Consigliatissimo. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free disponibile
