Great staff. Great food. Great vibe. Didn’t look like much from the outside but blew away expectations when inside. Wonderful wedding reception hosted. Only issue is the parking. Can’t fault anything else.

Cannot recommend this place enough. We had our wedding reception here very recently and it was absolutely amazing. The staff are fantastic, very personable, very organised, super attentive, and they went beyond and above to make our reception very special. The food is also fantastic. We're already booked in again for another family celebration.

Said to waitress at time - think likely having a bad day as my wife has had much better meal there before. Bread described as sourdough didn't appear to be, was nice however. Main issue was 3 fairly expensive meat/fish dishes all average to poor quality. Squid described as charred was deep fried and lacked any seasoning or flavour on a pretty nice squid ink risotto. Korean chicken major let down lack seasoning and crunch and any moisture. Pigs cheek was small, covered in a gravy which felt somewhat like a school gravy with a large slice of tasty black pudding and nicely charred cabbage. Big plus was the two vegetable dishes in hisby cabbage and broccoli were flavoursome, well cooked and tasty. Truffle popcorn was very original and tasty if a little stale. Disappointed especially as not cheap and wife's birthday but hopefully an off day.

Wonderful afternoon tea!! It was our 6th wedding anniversary and we liked the food a lot. The carrot cake made with pecan flour was incredible!! My husband like the sausage roll. Noteworthy details: Ambience was splendid.

Although we didn't have chance to use the on site michelin star restaurant (which looked lovely) the hotel side was near perfect! Greeted by friendly staff, with complimentary bubbles on arrival, an honesty bar at reception for drinks in the rooms, home made treat, and near spotless, lovely decorated rooms. The in room fridge had a glass front, which meant the light was shining all night which was my only annoyance, in hindsight I suppose I could of covered it easily enough. Easy access coming to Sheffield and for city centre. I would definitely go back.
