    DON'T USE THEM! We asked Broadland Mobility to service my mother in law's GoGo mobility scooter. The price quoted was £60. The technician arrived on Tuesday and took the scooter to his van to service, saying it would take an hour. After a while, he came back to the house to say he would need to take the scooter away. It had a broken "circlip" on one of the wheel axles. He said he normally carried them on the van but he had run out. I asked him whether the scooter would be back this week and he said within a day or two. I asked how much more to replace the clip, and he said just the cost of the clip if anything. Clips cost around £1.30 individually, but a company like this would probably buy in bulk, so we are talking pence. On Thursday, we had not heard back from them. I rang to say I would be in Great Yarmouth and asked if I should collect the scooter myself? It had not been done yet and we arranged for the technician to call us back that morning. He did not. We rang Broadland Mobility for an update. We explained that we needed it back by the weekend if possible. On Friday, they rang to say it was done and we could collect it, but the cost was now £80. This included a £5 charge for the clip. They claimed the technician had come in especially early as we wanted it for the weekend, so we were paying for overtime. This had not been agreed upon at an extra cost. On collection, I argued the point with the manager. We appreciated the efforts to get the scooter done but we had not been warned of extra costs. Had the technician had a clip on the van, the service would have been completed on Tuesday. The manager was completely unsympathetic saying "we could argue this all day". I just felt we should have been warned of extra costs and given the choice. I also feel we were overcharged for the clip, a consumable. Finally, given it should have been a one hour service, 2 days should have been enough time to complete this and return the scooter. Simply, they are rude, unsympathetic and they don't communicate effectively. We will not use them or recommend them again. They will argue they were doing us a favour, but at a cost without warning. Their attitude is appalling. Shame!

    Patient….. Understanding …. Supportive….. ? This is most definitely not the experience I had. Unfortunately I had to give one star to leave a review otherwise it would be zero stars. After sales service none existent…. I purchased a wheelchair from this business and although I had seen the same model cheaper on line I shopped local, to support local businesses. From now on I will shop on line. I had a simple problem that could have been resolved easily, unfortunately the attitude I was met with in my opinion bordered on arrogance. In my experience you would probably get better service on line…. and better prices. No care at all.
