Group of 5, mix of day skipper and competent crew qualifications. Got back from our course yesterday and can’t tell you how amazing it all was. Aurora is a beautiful and really well maintained boat. Great provisions. Our instructor, Nick, was fantastic. Wouldn’t do training with any other school now - Broad Reach has such a great energy and ethos. Brilliant!

Just come back from an ICC weekend with Broadreach. A really rewarding experience. Aurora is a great boat, super clean and in tip top condition. 4 pupils and the instructor meant that we never felt crowded. Food was great and stopovers were well planned so we ate and drank very well. Instructor Simon is a great guy, kept it all relaxed and great fun. Thoroughly recommended.

My partner and I did both the comp crew and day skipper courses with Broad Reach and can't speak more highly of our experiences. Tony was an excellent instructor, making it fun but relaxed. He was also an excellent chef! We had a great time and will be back for some mile maker time on board Aurora!

There were 5 of us on the course and I was nominated to write the review on everyone's behalf: Personally, I was a little nervous going in but within minutes of meeting our instructor Tony, I felt totally at ease. The course was laid out really well and at no point did we feel out of our depth. We were guided through each of the skills required to pass the course with great explanations, demonstrations and then guidance as we honed them ourselves. There was a great sense of teamwork and we are now leaving the course with confidence and have become a group of friends who are now planning a trip together later in the year. Tony, thanks for making it great course. I can't recommend Broad Reach Sailing enough! Totally brilliant!

Simon is without doubt the best sailing instructor I have experienced. Rather than obsessing with "ticking boxes" Simon focuses on practical learning that you will actually use on the water. And he makes it fun. I would strong recommend Broad Reach Sailing.

Attended the Day Skipper course on the Solent last week, hugely enjoyable despite the freezing temperatures and occasional hailstorm! First class instruction from Broad Reach's instructor Tony who delivered the course in a friendly, relaxed and yet highly professional manner ensuring that everyone aboard Aurora got the most from their 5 days. He also cooks a mean spaghetti Bolognese! I spoke to a few sailing schools before I booked the course and I’m very happy to have spent my time with Broad Reach – I will definitely be back for more. Keep up the good work.

Was searching for a rya course in the solent and came across Broad Reach Sailing, from the outset the booking experience was great with all information provided up front and any questions answered promptly. Once on board the first class experience continued with a professional, friendly and knowledgeable instructor, great food, great company and a fully equipped Yacht and all great value for money.
