Took my Vauxhall Astra to Brittanic and spoke to Nick. As usual very helpful, diagnosed the problem which was a gear box issue and ABS pump problem. Car fixed promptly by Sam and Pete and at a fair price. I would not go anywhere else to get my car fixed. Would recommend highly.

They deserve every single star. Honestly in my experience i beleive that anyone reviewed less than 5 stars is not a genuine customer. Dropped my BMW 520 series with a gearbox issue. Got the car scanned and Nick gave 2 options, refurbish my one or buy a second hand one and get it replaced by them. I found a good deal for a second hand one and took the car for gearbox replacement yesterday. Gearbox replaced, oil changed, coded and also i had an MOT. The car was ready within one day. I don't know what to say but this guys, especially Nick are the best and mos experienced I've ever seen. Reasonable prices and also got the first diagnosing fee deducted on final payment. Just drop the car and trust them in everything. Thank you Brittanic Auto Transmission.

Fantastic Experience from day one when I first brought my car in with a fault (Ford Galaxy). I was patiently and confidentiality told what the fault might be, and maybe how long. I was patient and was kept updated with the repairs, what a good experience. As for customer experience fantastic, thank you very much Nick your you and your team are great. A few years back, I had my gearbox reconditioned here and the car has been running as new ever since. Whenever the car needs a service or MOT, I come here. Having read the latest unfair review, I felt compelled to leave a review of my own. In the review by Daniel M, he mentions going to Brittanic with a fault code that has been identified by another garage. When you see a specialist doctor, do you expect a diagnosis based on test results from a GP? No. He or she will want to carry out their own examination before committing to a conclusion. You went to a proper garage and expected them to tell you what's wrong with your car based on what some other garage has printed out on a bit of paper. You then complain that you told that the cost for Brittanic to carry out a diagnostic test is £100. You do realise that you're paying for knowledge and experience? They've been in business for years, have invested in the equipment used to make a vehicle diagnosis. Unbelievable. If Brittanic were scammers, they would've taken your money and undertaken the work based on the code you supplied. And if your car was originally misdiagnosed, they would've said: 'sorry mate, you gave us the code.' Can you see why they want to do their own tests? Anyway, great garage. Service: Transmission

I visited this garage with the hope of getting some information about a fault code related to my car's clutch and possibly getting the issue resolved. Given that they are automatic Gearbox Specialists, I thought they might be knowledgeable about the fault code and could give me an estimate for the repair cost. Unfortunately, I was met by a rude, unhelpful elderly man with a poor attitude. Even before I could fully explain my issue, he rudely interrupted me, stating that he didn't care about the fault code, and that I would have to pay £100 for a diagnostic then he will take it from there. He had no interest in answering any questions or providing any helpful information. Consequently, I left as I was not willing to give him any money based on his attitude alone, and more than happy to take my business elsewhere.
