The smoke of the British Sugar factory bellowed into the night sky as I flew down the A14. I was with my fiance and my 15 month old dog, our Vauxhall Astra packed with clothes, presents and expectations of Christmas tidings. It was during this time my mind wondered. I was transported into an underground world below the factory with ceilings reaching up to the sky. White mountains of sugar loomed overhead with a gentle spray of granules carried by a breeze escaping down a drain from above ground. Brown syrup rivers rushed from peak to base and life size houses formed the view up ahead, built entirely from sugar cubes and icing. I felt a tap on my shoulder. A heavy, warm, wet breath on the back of my neck. And then it spoke... "British Sugar, it's grrrrreeeeat!". A flash of orange and black. Then darkness.
