I did my Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) Level 7 Executive Coaching qualification with the British School of Coaching (BSC) from November 2020 to November 2021. The BSC was great with supporting my decision on which qualification and training provider to choose, making time to answer my numerous questions and giving me space to decide. Communications for onboarding and induction, including key reading and prep, was timely and clear and made starting the course feel less overwhelming. The course tutor, programme, materials, coaching and reflection exercises were excellent, providing a strong conceptual and practical foundation as a new coach. It also have me the chance to build a network of coaches through a really engaged cohort of learners - we are still in contact now! I would highly recommended the BSC if you are considering gaining a credible and highly respected coaching qualification.

I completed the ILM Level 7 in Executing Coaching with the BSC (2022-23). The training and support were excellent throughout. Very personalised, highly responsive and always non-judgemental. Feels great to now have the official ILM badge as an accredited coach, with all the confidence that gives to clients. More important, I feel more assured in offering my services knowing that I've genuinely reached a high standard, as enforced by the BSC. I'd have no hesitation recommending BSC to others considering a qualification in coaching or mentoring.

Completing the Executive Coaching ILM L7 course has been one of the best CPD learning experience I have had as a senior leader. Working within education has naturally led itself to use ‘coaching’ with staff and students at every level for different reasons. I believed that I had a good understanding of coaching and was adept at coaching others. It wasn’t until I undertook the professional learning with this course that I realised how little I knew about the theoretical and reflective elements of executive coaching. The course provided detailed learning and reflection on all elements of executive coaching delivered by excellent and skilled facilitators. Face to face days over a period of time focused on coaching, reflections, supervision and everything related to these parts of the coaching process. Working alongside fellow executive leaders from a range of different sectors allowed me to appreciate the power and importance of executive coaching. BSC provided excellent tutor support to allow me to complete the three assignments that were equally challenging and enjoyable. An excellent use of my precious personal professional development time completing this course will allow me to support other executive leaders as well as continue my coaching development.

I successfully completed my ILM Level 5 Coaching qualification and the ILM Wellness Coaching programme with the BSC. The courses are full and well run, and reasonably priced. The tutors/supervisors - Martin and Virginia - are really knowledgeable, supportive and approachable. The course material is excellent and really good quality, they provide you with everything you need and the tutors take you through it all in detail. I really enjoyed both courses and plan to do more with BSC in the future. Sign up ... you won't regret it.

08/02/2023 - I have just successfully passed my L5 Coaching Qual - From the very first of 5 virtual training days just over a year ago now, the team at BSC were incredibly professional, supportive and encouraging. My Tutor/Supervisor, Angie was always impressively knowledgeable and supportive. Angie was super reliable, I always knew that if I felt I needed to reach out it was never too much trouble to arrange a video call meeting to discuss how I was progressing :) This was my first experience using BSC and I only have positive reflections to share. I would certainly recommend using this training provider, I know I will be engaging in further education and qualifications with them again in the future. Of course I will not know what qual you will be taking or which tutor you will get and I'm sure they are all great......but I hope you get Angie! Grant, Wellbeing Coach & Trainer
