pobjoy is a fantastic coin site and usually has great coin sets. This is why I give it any stars at all. The problem with pobjoy is the fact that they put the coins out when it's impossible to buy. If you are client facing, you cannot answer your phone for a coin. I work as a funeral director and I am usually at a care home, hospital or on a funeral when the coins become available, when I check the phone, they have all gone and mainly to dealers. I then have to go on Ebay to buy them at silly prices and the dealers have 3 or 4 to sell all brought from pobjoy. It should be limited to 1 per person to make it fair for genuine collectors. Even if you manage to get the coin into your basket, if your not quick enough, it will go to someone who is quicker

Very unethical behaviour! Through its practices it is encouraging speculation and reselling of their coins at high prices rather than encouraging the collector. I have tried today to purchase the latest release of coins. Received the email at 12:03, Had my item in the basket at 12:04 and could not check out because the site crashed. At 12:09 it came back and I managed to reach the checkout only to be informed that there is no more stock! Well....I had it in my basket!!!! Very disappointed with these practices. If they would want to discourage this: for coins that have a high demand, allocate them by a random draw rather than delude people!
