Terrible company. Move in and want to end with British gas, called and pay the final bill. Guess what, after 3month, they send me another final bill!!! And then guess what they open another account for me without any consent and send me another 2 final bills, which shows completely different amount. This is a crazy company without any dignity...

Clearly asking employees to write better reviews on Google because the company itself is AWFUL and customers are livid. All the 'good' reviews aren't for the company, but for the office space?? I'm not even a BG customer and I've spent days trying to get an incorrect bill sorted even though it's nothing to do with me. BG sent me a bill for the property I moved into before my new supplier took over, I wasn't even in the property for the dates stated in the bill, the address was incorrect, and the amount was insane. I called BG 'customer service' team who said this would be rectified and I'd receive a call to confirm within a week. Guess who never received the call, text, or a correct bill... I did get a new bill for the same, incorrect dates, with a higher amount and no explanation as to why the amount changed. I'm now getting credit and threatening notices because I've 'failed to pay' the original bill, which is super stressful and BG refuses to respond to chases or calls. Highly recommend STAYING FAR AWAY from this company as a whole or any of their subsidiaries if you want to keep your mental and physical health in a decent condition.

If I could give 0 I would. Totally shocking service from this company. Recently moved house and we have spent literally hours on the phone trying to transfer its service. Many staff have simply passed us to someone else or just put us back in the q. The final conversation was when a member of staff said, if your new house previously had a Scottish Power supple, we can’t supply. There staff appear to badly trained, too few of them, promise to ring back, but never do, contradict one another and frankly don’t appear to care. How much profit is this company making? The chief executive down should be ashamed, but I doubt they care.

Zero star service would be my preferred option. Waited 4 hours for engineer to visit for installation of smart mater. He/she did not arrive. It appears the visit was cancelled by British Gas without notifying me. Could not discuss this via their Online Chat facility because all agents were busy and the Chat was automatically closed.
