I am part of the Vertu motor cover and I took this as it suited that my car can be collected I was informed there is now a charge of £37 to collect which I wasn’t informed of. The lady tried to help me with alternatives and told me my car was booked in for 9.30 on the date i attended I was told that it would be a wait app so basically I would be seen at 9.30 n wait till it’s done. When I got there I was informed it would be ready by 2.30 that was no good to me ir how it had been explained to me I had to get child from nursery he then said I’ll try get it done for 1pm. I aimlessly wondered about for nearly 4 hours as the dealership is on an industrial estate. I ventured back about 12.30 to be told it hadn’t even been looked at yet. If I had known the full procedure I would have paid £20 for a hire car. On this occasion I was frustrated and albeit the staff have always been wonderful this change of policy that i wasn’t notified about had a huge impact on my 1 day off. I will not be re signing with the cover as £27.99 pm is 335.88 I can get an MOT and service cheaper at other garages closer to my home.
