    Ordered an expensive camera strap online. Paid 6 pounds postage. Left it a few days, nothing. Checked on their very amateur website with no contact email (very strange) and after hunting for the account 'dashboard' my order simply says acknowledged. Mm.. no postage info, nothing. I've not even had an email acknowledging they've received payment, or they have my order etc. Its 2023 for Christ's sakes. Where is my order? What is going on? I may cancel and order elsewhere. UPDATE - notification of order despatched. Ordered 10th May. 6 pounds. Despatched 15th May. Still waiting on delivery. So do they sell not in stock items I wonder? Or just not too bothered about online sales?

    Shocking levels of customer service. My first and last time using Bristol Cameras I placed and paid for an item and after a week, I'd not received a despatch notification. I called the shop and was informed there was a backlog in despatching mail order items, which I accepted as a valid reason. 4 days later, I still hadn't received an update, so I called again. I was promised a status update before the end of the day. This was not received, so I called again the following day, only to be informed by a very abrupt member of staff, that the item was out of stock and wouldn't be delivered for another week. I was constantly talked over as I tried to explain my disappointment, so decided to request a refund, at which point I received an "ok", followed by the phone being put-down. Staggeringly bad levels of customer service.

    I ordered three rolls of film with delivery from an online photo materials store. However, the store notified me that they can only deliver two rolls as they were in stock, and the third roll will be delivered later. I was not offered the option to cancel my order or to suggest a replacement. I received only two rolls, and the third one never arrived. I cannot contact the store via email, only by phone, which is inconvenient. Now, I don't know how to get a refund for the missing roll of film. UPDATE: I would like to add that I was able to contact the company by sending an email to their "no-reply" address. The issue was resolved, and a refund was processed. However, I am still unhappy that I had to pay for the product first before finding out that one of the rolls was not in stock. I believe that in such cases, the store should provide information about the availability of products on their website or offer pre-orders to avoid such inconvenience in the future.
