my little boy goes to Briscoe primary and nursery school and I must say the staff are so friendly and welcoming and its so nice to be able to see the headteachers all the time and them saying hello to the children all the time the teachers are very helpful and go above and beyond to help all children. I must also say that I'm very impressed that this school has no bullying at all. I can't thank them enough for how well my son has progressed since he has been at this school. I can't wait for my daughter to start this school swell.

My 2 daughters have recently moved to this school having suffered bullying at their previous school which was inadequately dealt with, We had to move them as my daughter was left with extreme anxiety. We found Briscoe and on viewing the school chose to move them there after the warm reception we received from Mrs Chudleigh, and all of the staff and the wonderful feel of the school as we walked around. The girls have been there for some time now and have settled in beautifully, every member of staff greeted them and made them feel welcome, my other daughter has issues and is supported by the schools SEN which I can not fault either. They have been helpful with every step of her settling in period and any additional support within the school she needs. The things the children tell me they do at school is fabulous the fact they take part in outdoor learning is fantastic. I cannot thank this school enough for helping both my daughters that were so unhappy and really not enjoying school, love learning again, they come home happy every day, they tell me how much fun they have had every day and most of all they come out smiling and never tell me they don't want to go to school anymore like they used to. As a parent that is all you can ask for this school is amazing, the teachers are approachable, friendly and so supportive I really can't fault this school at all.

my daughter attended this pre school for about 6 months. she wasn't happy here, she used to cry all the time when i took her and say please mummy i not go school, i thought she was just being a "kid" until i see a video on tapestry (an app the school has password protected for parents) where a teacher basically left her out of the game they was playing and spoke to her like dirt. i spoke to the head of nursery who said she will speak to the teacher in question (head was doing the recording of video!!) i sent an email to head of the whole school who asked if i would like a meeting i said yes and emailed a further 2 times as i heard nothing back!! still to this day i have had no contact. i moved my daughter to another pre school and she loves it there and is progressing really well.

I have worked at Briscoe Primary School and Nursery for 28 years, and before that was a parent helper there (both my daughters - who are now in their thirties) - went to Briscoe. I've also been a dinner lady and worked for a year on a one-to-one basis with a child with special needs. We are all, and always have been, part of an exclusive 'family' - both children and staff. Briscoe provides a friendly, safe learning environment and delights in the many wonderful achievements of the pupils entrusted to us by their parents.
