We fully renovated our flat in January 2023 changing the laminated floors amongst other things. After extensive research on wood flooring stores across London, we found George. Even during our initial visit, George came across as very knowledgeable and professional. He patiently answered all our questions and was very friendly. George helped us decide which type of floor would be more suitable for our flat and budget and was even as kind as to give us a discount. On top of all this, George was available and very helpful even after the installation of the wooden flooring with questions we had about how to care for the floor and ways of maintaining it. I just purchased a property and was lucky to find parquet flooring under the carpets. I got several quotes before going ahead with the work. George's attention to detail was absolutely excellent. He knew my floor before lifting the carpet fully back. He was very professional, knowledgeable and pointed out important factors that I had not considered! It was an easy choice to go with George and his team and I was not disappointed. The result was better than i could have hoped for! It is absolutely beautiful. I can't believe the difference. This company is a fraud. They advertise quality wooden flooring online and send you a sample of it but the actual wood you receive once you order full load and pay £££ is completely different from the sample and of a very low quality!! I am now recovering my money through PayPal and reporting them to the UK Trading Standards as after they’ve collected the order from my house themselves they still did not refund my money! I have full video footage and witnesses of the collection so the Police will be notified as well. Beware and don’t waste your time and money!

We fully renovated our two-bed flat in a converted Victorian house and relied on George and his company Brilliant Wood Flooring for replacing the existing floor. We met George in the showroom to decide the type of floor and colour. Initially we planned to have “chevron style” in the flat however George was right to install “herringbone” instead, since the flat was not wide enough to emphasize the former. Moreover, George guide us in the colour selection based on the luminosity of the house and a light grey was recommended. Eventually we went for the “Frost Grey Oak Engineered Flooring 15mm x 120mm Brushed & UV Oiled”. 2 months that we are in the new property and the floor looks stunning. I'm delighted with my wooden flooring and would highly recommend George and the team at Brilliant Wood Flooring - from Gabriel who took many phone calls from me and the installation team. I did a lot of research before appointing George and met with several companies about the project (wooden flooring installation in my whole flat). From our first meeting, I had confidence in George's deep knowledge of his trade and in his ability to deliver my project. I needed to work with a very specific soundproofing product and George took personal responsibility to call the manufacturer and make sure his installation techniques were in full compliance with the soundproofing company's recommendations. He is passionate about what he does and very high standards for himself and his team. George ended up creating a custom colour for me based on some samples I had seen. He worked tirelessly to get the wood ready in time (I had family coming to visit and had a strict deadline for completion!). On the job, the Brilliant Wood Flooring team were polite, tidy and had a real 'nothing is a problem' mentality which was hugely comforting. As with any renovation project there were problems along the way but George took full responsibility for solving the issues. My floors are really stunning and I get compliments from everyone who sees them. If you're looking for a talented, trustworthy, hardworking flooring expert, definitely call them!
