While the food was undeniably delicious, I couldn't help but feel a pang of disappointment regarding the portion sizes and pricing. As someone who frequents well-known restaurants in central London, where value for money is often prioritised, I couldn't shake off the sense that Brilliant fell slightly short in this regard. The flavors and quality of the food at Brilliant were, without a doubt good. However, my enthusiasm was tempered by the disappointing revelation that the main curry dishes had noticeably shrunk in size. We had to order the main dishes twice! As a long-time patron of Brilliant, I had come to appreciate their generous portions, which had always been a defining feature of their dining experience. Regrettably, it seems that recent changes in their portion sizes have not been accompanied by a corresponding adjustment in pricing. This discrepancy left me feeling somewhat shortchanged and dampened my overall satisfaction. Comparing Brilliant to other well-known establishments in central London and locally, I couldn't help but notice the discrepancy in value for money. These restaurants, with their similar price range, consistently provide generous portions that leave customers feeling content and satisfied. The reduction in portion size at Brilliant, coupled with the unchanged prices, creates an unfortunate contrast that detracts from the overall dining experience. Despite my disappointment, I must reiterate that the taste and quality of the food at Brilliant were commendable. However, the downsizing of their main curry dishes, without a corresponding adjustment in pricing, is a factor that cannot be ignored, particularly when considering value for money in comparison to other establishments in central London or in the area of southall. Ultimately, Brilliant remains a restaurant with culinary expertise and an authentic menu. However, for those seeking a satisfying portion size that matches the price, it may be worth exploring other options where value for money is a key consideration.

    Good food, nice and friendly staff. Food is reasonably priced but starters portion size was too small than expected. Enough parking available in the school car park located cross opposite to the restaurant and is used by restaurant for its customers.

    Hi, I went for dinner at brilliant restaurant. Sorry the food was ok but the service was very unsatisfactory and staff was very unprofessional . First they take order late then we got appetiser. Ok it was fine but when we ordered main course it been more than 45 minutes we didn’t get the main course. We came back home without eating.

    The only word to describe the place is brilliant! A restaurant that has been a part of Southall of many years, it's gone through transformations and always for the better. The food is sublime and has something for everyone. Best to book since it can get busy. Vegetarian options: Good selection

    Came here for my mums 60th birthday and could not fault it. Definitely the best choice we made, the staff were so accommodating (especially as we had 7 children under 10) , the food was absolutely delicious and the decor was lovely! I will definitely be coming back again!
