Our experience of working with the Brilliant Lighting team throughout the design and build of a contemporary house has, without question, been excellent. We recognised that good lighting design could make a significant contribution to the overall outcome of our project, and having been impressed by what we had seen of their work, approached Brilliant Lighting to see if they might help. The creative input (led by Melanie), the robust design process, selection of appropriate fittings and incorporation of existing, plus the phased delivery, has (despite COVID lockdown) run like clockwork. We very much felt that we were being guided by experts, from whom we have learned a great deal, in an entirely collaborative way. It would be easy to mistakenly believe that all LED lighting is the same – far from it – the right fittings, when located, positioned and used in the right way, make all the difference. Some people rely on the electrician's advice without realising the impact that colour, spread of light, number and type of fittings and their control is such a key driver of value. Melanie and her team walked us through everything step by step and guided us through the design process in a way that drew out the best options and styles of lighting and controls for our new home. Our Project Manager (Claire) worked closely with us to refine the finer detail and dealt with ordering lighting/dealing with our installers in a truly professional manner. The quality of the lights, controls, blinds and equipment has been exceptional. Russell from Brilliant Lighting set up and commissioned all of the lighting systems and blind controls and was great to work with. Its always really good to work with someone who cares so much about their products and can communicate technically in a manner which a lay person can understand. After sales service and product information relating to our final installation has also been great. In addition, Lutron controlled window blinds were designed (with own fabric), supplied and fitted.
