My son and I had a brilliant day. As fishing novices we were guided through the process, learnt a lot and enjoyed every moment on the boat. Once back on land it was interesting to see the chef prepare our catch and then surprise us with a great main dish (the other courses were also excellent). Will definitely look to get out on the boat again.

Had 2 boat trips out with Iain booked at short notice whilst staying in Brighton. I'd greatly recommend anybody wanting to catch bass on sporting tackle and learn about sea lure fishing to do the same. The fishing tackle on board is top quality gear and Iain works extremely hard to ensure everyone is fishing effectively. Great banter on board and the boat trips provide superb views of the coastline, We even got followed by a group of Dolphins on the first day that were right off the boat stern! Fishwise we caught numerous sea bass and Gurnard on the trips plus lost a few mystery fish to hookpulls. The emphasis on catch & release of any takeable female bass was also really excellent to see. I'll definitely be rebooking when next in the area! 🐟🎣

Me and my partner had an excellent day out with Iain! We knew nothing about fishing before and did the catch and cook. Iain was great and showed us the ropes giving really useful advice throughout the day as well and some great commentary on the ways of the sea fishing industry. Caught a few sea bass and the day finished with an excellent meal with our catch. Will be definitely coming back out on the seas with you again!

Went out on the charter yesterday and although fishing was tough due to conditions Ian never stopped trying to find the fish. Eventually landed on a few shoals of mackeral for the kids to have fun with and some plaice for the adults. Can't fault the skipper, he did everything he could, very friendly too and patient with the kids. Will definitely book again, conditions were against us yesterday but we will find that big one soon

First time boat fishing, Iain explained the basics, showed how to cast properly and boom .. sea bass on the first cast!!.. it’s a great laid back experience and Iain knows all the best spots to fish.. highly recommended and will be back..

My wife and I had the boat alone with Iain. He’s funny, charismatic, and genuinely tried to find the fish. We will book with him again, as should you if you’re up for lure fishing (which is more challenging than live bait). We paid for the 4-hour bass catch and cook, had a few nibbles, yet even after trying a bunch of spots we didn’t catch any fish. Iain made sure we didn’t go back empty handed by quickly hooking well over enough mackerel for our lunch. The cook portion of the day was ok. There was no demonstration by the chef, yet the cocktails were nice, starters of chicken wings and pork cheeks well portioned, plus there were chips, bread, and salad as well as our expertly cooked up catch. It was a lot of food and far exceeded our stomachs, plus they comped us a free bottle of still water and the servers were super friendly. Overall, a great way to spend the morning to mid-afternoon. 4.5 stars

Awesome trip! Couldn't ask for more tbh. Perfect weather, professional service. The whole experience was brilliant. We caught some nice Bass - some were even too big for cook. 😎 Deffo coming back for more fun. Iain is so helpful - you can be advanced or rookie - you won't regret it! 🎣🐟
