I started Taekwon-Do with Mr Mayes when I was 7 years old. Over 10 years later, I could not be more grateful to be training in this martial art. This incredible Taekwon-Do school has become more of a second home to me. I wasn't always the best behaved child in primary school, but this martial art taught me crucial values of discipline and respect. Not only have I made many friends and had a great time in my training, but this martial art dramatically changed my attitude towards school and played a huge part in my current academic successes. I am now a 2nd Dan black belt and am enjoying training more than ever! Mr Mayes has been running the school for over 20 years and has classes on most days of the week, making training much easier to fit around my college schedule.
