I have been seeing a psychiatrist here for many years. He has been amazing and I do not think I would be where I am now without him. Based on my experience I fully recommend this place.

Can only reiterate other's negative reviews, I dread to think what gets continually carried out on those who are too vulnerable to eventually protect themselves by walking away. Happy to take money and run, not upholding basic tenets of responsibilities. Starting therapy sessions late and ending early; not listening to repeated concerns in psychiatrist sessions about medication efficacy or bothering to read notes before sessions to make sure that they don't speak in a careless or apathetic manner about serious subjects with you (e.g. in a check up, "so no suicidal...thoughts (starts casually flicking through your notes)... that's not a part of your background is it...is it?...". And when you file a formal complaint with intention to be refunded and for the practice to reflect on their mistakes, you get unprofessionally written emails from managerial types that then turn into pretending to have carried out assessments of your areas of complaints with quotes from the individuals you've complained about, simply semantically contradicting your complaint. I.e. the sessions started late, so... "If anything our sessions started early and overran". And this is enough apparently, to neutralise the complaint. If you do decide to trial their services, use tools to record everything, no effort is too much in this regard; you might need it to complain later. Get on an NHS waiting list and use tools to look after yourself until you can receive their help, or else find far cheaper online services. Don't pile your money up and burn it whilst unprofessional people who have become arrogantly complacent about their protected positions of power mistreat you. If I wanted my therapist to talk in a tangent at length about them liking Britain's Got Talent in a session that started ten minutes late and finished fifteen minutes early, instead of carrying out Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, I'd give someone at the bus stop a tenner to let rip on the subject, not hundreds to this 'malpractice clinic'.

Our daughter spent 3 months here as an inpatient at the CAMHS ED Unit. This was the third specialist unit that she has been placed in and it truly stands out as an exceptionally good facility. The staff are caring, friendly and deeply committed to doing the best they can for the patients in their care. Our daughter was very ill with some very challenging behaviours, but they refused to give up and treated her with compassion and kindness as they encouraged her on the road to recovery. The staff are well-led and clearly form a great team, working well together and with us. It is the first time as parents that we have felt completely involved and supported in our daughter's inpatient treatment and this collaborative approach achieved some amazing results. We were not only listened to, but actively consulted, to achieve the best tailor-made approach for our child. Our daughter has left this unit ready to challenge her disorder and this hospital can take much of the credit for her improved state of mind. We will remember this as a very special healing place full of some very special people who we simply cannot thank enough.

This practice has no real duty of care to its patients. It does not live up to the amount they charge. £140 for half an hour but if you have any concerns or request a phone call they cant even be bothered to get back to you.
