Loved the hotel but it was a bit annoying that we had to pay extra for the spa considering the room was pretty expensive. It was the main reason we booked it. Everything else was amazing but then got woken up early because the cleaners were talking to each other right outside our room really loud for hours. Wouldn't say this has put me off returning though.

Nice hotel. Friendly hotel reception staff. Only complaints. Iron in rooms is very basic and not very hot. And breakfast, great cold service but meagre cooked breakfast which the chef seemed to have an obsession with oregano. Rooms: Clean tidy and very high quality. Including complimentary gin for the gin drinkers Nearby activities: Right in centre of Brighton sea front with everything in reasonable walking distance Safety: 24 hour reception Walkability: Everything is easily walkable too Food & drinks: Great cold breakfast, meagre hot food Noteworthy details: If you love oregano then have the breakfast

I only went to the restaurant. It was the worst burger I had in my life.

The room itself is lovely, bed is super comfy and the shower is great, very modern. However, place right next to a loud nightclub strip so all night we could hear out the bedroom window people out partying until 5am. Wedding on at the same time which vibrated the floor and you could hear the music as if you were in the wedding itself. Madness when trying to get a little one to sleep. The staff charged £7.00 for two small bottles of tonic with a service charge on all drinks! In this case it was 74p when we went to the bar. On top of that, the bar staff said “sorry we have no change” to give us. As if we were going to walk away without £13 in return?! The staff at the bar were so rude and clearly didn’t want to be there. Food & drinks: Be prepared to pay 100% service charge on everything!!!
