Our eldest has attended Bright Horizons Clapham for over 3 years and loves it there. We've been so impressed with the staff and facilities, especially during the many difficulties they faced during the pandemic, that our youngest son now attends too. The level of care they receive is of the highest standard and both are always so happy and look forward to going in each day. In fact the eldest is always asking to go in on the weekends too! As a parent the support that we receive from staff is great too. Cannot recommend highly enough.

We moved our son to Bright Horizons from another local nursery just after he turned 3 around the end of 2019. We were nervous about making the switch but shouldn't have been - as from day one he's loved it and has absolutely thrived. He looks forward to nursery every day, and we look forward to hearing all about his day after. The staff have been amazing, especially with all the challenges over the last year. A special thanks to Jo, Maria and Tatiana, his favourite people in the world! We will be sad to leave in the summer when it's time for him to start school.

I couldn't be happier than having my boy Alexander at Bright Horizons. They are so lovely there. They really care that your child thrives and come up with all kinds of fun events and communicate daily what you child has eaten and how much.I feel so safe having my boy there.

Overpriced! Definitely looks better than it performs! Tried every way Possible to make it work for longer, but it really didn’t. My child was not happy during the time she spent there, but thankfully a totally changed child at her new nursery! New nursery communicates in an amazing and effective way, they’ll even call if child running late. Expectations were not met At Bright horizons, the only call youd get is if your payment is late. Your child could be absent for a whole two weeks, it wouldn’t not concern them and you’d get no call. Extremely Disappointed!!

My experience at this Nursery was not the most great experience. They do not treat staff fairly, they expose whistle blowers which is unsafe for staff, staff do not get paid enough especially bank staff who do most of the work in the rooms, some room leaders are hardly in the rooms to control and see what is happening in the rooms. Also, there is a case of favouritism and discrimination in the Nursery. Managers do not acknowledge care for their staff when staff have a concern, they would listen but not actually do something about a situation. The management in the Nursery is very poor and I am 100 percent most parents have noticed. I would never bring my child there as monthly payments that parents pay would not reach the standards I would expect.

My son has been attending this Bright Horizons since he was 9 months old (is now 2 years old) and has been very happy here. I love how spacious and modern the rooms are and how each class he attends is very much his peer group within a couple of months of each other (as opposed to some nurseries where it is all under 2s in one class/room etc). The staff are super caring and interested in his progression. Highly recommend.

I work in the baby room and also have a child who attends the nursery. She started in toddler 1 and is now in pre school 1. She really enjoys her days at the nursery and all the lovely activities set up by staff. She has such a lovely relationship with all the staff and they leave me feeling confident and relaxed when leaving my child. She has made some wonderful friendships with the children and looks forward everyday to seeing them again. Being a member of staff doesn’t make it any easier for me when leaving my child I still have all the anxiety like every other parent but I have been at Clapham for 6 years now and have seen the growth and how amazing it is today, couldn’t ask for a better TEAM!

Great expereince from the first moment we have visited till now. We have been to countless nurseries for our child before choosing this one, and I couldn’t be any more satisfied with the services and care received here. Children in our family are used to private nurseries/schools with a very high standard of care and bright horizons Clapham really does meet our requirements. The staff are extremely caring and loving towards our daughter and the other children. I’m very happy and feel very safe when leaving my child here. Thank you very much

I have been recommended this nursery by a friend who has their own child attending. I have read all of the other reviews and decided to go for a visit. I have been greeted into the nursery by the nursery manager and have been given a show around one afternoon. The nursery has good facilities and i liked the activities that the children can take part in. I was less impressed with the fact that there was a very large number of children in each room and even though the staff ratio is what the law requires, it didn't seem enough when it came to staff paying attention to children in more detail. However I was going to go one step further anyway and take my child for a stay and play session as I was offered. So I did. My son came for a stay and play session today for one hour. He was sent to the room most suited for his age group and played for a little bit. He was then taken to the garden and to finish up sent back to the room to have lunch. His session finished right at the time all the other children take lunch. However staff in the room welcomed him to have lunch with all the other children. They washed his hands, prepared a plate for him with food, SAT him down at the table with the other children and just when they were about to serve his food, a supervisor came in the room to say that his stay and play session was finished so he CANNOT HAVE LUNCH and he MUST leave. The staff in the room were surprised just as much as we were that he needs to leave and cannot stay for lunch with the other children. It was heartbreaking. I had to take him away from the other children and ask him to stand up and leave because they will eat and he can't. As soon as we got to the buggy and prepared to leave he started crying for food. I have never had such a horrific experience when visiting a nursery. I have literally been made to feel like we are nothing but a bunch of pound notes and if we don't bring our child it doesn't matter because someone else will, because they have plenty of children so one more or one less makes no difference for them. And the worst of everything is the feeling that my child had to be isolated from the others. i have visited plenty of nurseries, big, small, family run, franchises, all sorts and every time we attended a stay and play session that was close to snack time or lunch, my son was always invited to join, he was never asked to leave. I can understand this is a business so maybe if you have 20 children coming every day for stay and play sessions, you cannot accommodate everyone for a free lunch but this was one child who happened to finish his session at a time when other children were preparing to eat and he was asked to leave. What kind of soul do you need to have to behave in such a way? I can think of a million ways in which this could have been handled properly without making us feel so horrible. I will NEVER bring my child to this nursery ever again and I will make sure I tell this story to anyone who intends to. Yes it's true, if you want to bring your child to a nursery just for the facilities it has, then go ahead and bring them in but if you feel there is a need to just be human and show respect, care and understanding towards other people, then do NOT bring your child to a place with THIS MANAGEMENT structure!!!!! Shameful!
