What is your approach to discipline and classroom management in the Montessori environment?

In a Montessori environment, we believe in promoting self-discipline and independence in students. Spoke to a rude and ignorant member of staff who had a problem comprehending basic facts about what good nutrition is. Their food menu consists of cheese or pasta half the time, yes half - read your own menu. If you don't understand why that's unhealthy then you shouldn't really be commenting on it. Here's a hint, ultra processed 'food' isn't good for anyone. If your "qualified nutritionist" put that menu together then they should be fired!

It is very good nursery. My daughter is there from 1 year and i could see a steep curve of development on eating and behavior. The staffs are so kind there and my daughter just loves being in the nursery.

Just to say I was shocked to see the review written by 'James' come up on google when I was looking for the nurserys website. My daughter has attended Abbeymore since she was 11 months old and she is now nearly two. All the staff are absolutely fantastic, you can see they genuinely care about each child. They give feedback each day as to what your child has been doing, they are flexible if things need to change, diligent with medicine if it needs to be given during the time the child is there. Since attending her development has escalated at a much faster rate and this is due to the way in which the staff in her room care for her and teach her new things, including manners, sharing, routines etc. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

Im currently researching nurseries for my daughter and this nursery is in the right location. Concerned about the comments made by James (earlier review), I contacted both James and the nursery to find out more. Here is a snippet from the nursery's response: "We have looked at the review and can not find a family with that surname attending the Nursery at any time within the last few years. In addition to this we do not have any records of a complaint of that nature." James did not respond to my email-make of that what you will. id suggest ignoring that particular review.

Came back with bruises & couldn't get our brother's child out of there quick enough. That child then had behavior problems for almost a year at next nursery.
