Centre of the universe. The station has step free access to platform level on both platforms with direct access from carpark to platform 1. Card payment ticket machines are provided on both platforms along with shelters. As the road bridge passes above the station there is generally good protection from rain. The Commercial Railway Public House is situated around the corner and in my experience always offers a friendly welcome to rail users. I recommend Crafty Fox, Mamil & Jeremy's if you're out for a beer or two in town.

Clean tidy railway station. No ticket office and there is only one ticket machine. Redeeming feature is a good sized free car park.
