My son went to this school from aged 6 until 16. It was the worse experience. The school does not tackle any bullying, no bullying policy what so ever! They would rather brush it under the carpet. I have heard this from other parents too. Some even took their kids out of the school as it got that bad for them. My son would at times come home upset. I would speak to the head Mrs Nairn, and nothing would be done. They would rather leave it, in the hope it would go away, and the school would not lose any money!! The only reason I kept him there, is if I took him out and put him in a mainstream School, the bullying would continue. The school days are supposed to be the best days of your life. He has not kept in contact with any other pupils, and wants to forget his time there. It still angers me when I drive past the school. So be forewarned, think twice. Bolton School isn't too far away!!

I went to this school ...not ALL teachers were bad but some were VERY nasty ...i use to have a tutor help me through my school days and because my homework was correct they assumed that my tutor had done it for me ...i wasnt academically clever but i could get by... they use to give me after school detentions JUST because my tutor use to help me they wanted to see what i was capable of i mean the teachers could have helped me but instead they laughed at me in the staffroom.. i could hear it as i was stood outside due to detention. it was weeks of detention which had my mum in tears but little did i know that they picked on students that were not lets say not so wise ....if i had this mentality back then the teachers would not stand a chance ....In fact they would probably working in Mc Donalds.........Keep smiling ppl if ur hearts in the right place .....Ur winning

Aristotle “Give me a child until he is 7 and I will show you the man.” My two sons are now in their thirties and I couldn't ask for better... They were schooled here from three to eleven. Big thank you to Mrs Nairn...
