Every time I have tried to get my repeat prescription, this practice screws it up — either with the medications or the amount I need. I've used several GPs in the UK and have never experienced issues like this before. Communication with the practice is awful and some staff are also rude. I will be changing practices.

Such a great surgery. Dr Bakker has been my gp for many years and has always looked after me. The new reception team are all friendly, quick and efficient. Have always felt at ease and felt like I’ve been seen to quickly when needed.

Unbelievably unable to learn lessons. No matter how many patients complaint about the staff's rudeness, they continue. Having made an arrangement - knowing I'd left the practice - to ensure I had important medications to cover the transition, the GP arbitrarily decided to change her mind. This, despite knowing I had no other way to access medication (which I need every day) and that it would take time for the new practice I've registered with to get a record of past medications. How dangerous. Irresponsible. On reluctantly having to call again having dealt with rude receptionists before, I tried three times to explain this dilemma and three times the receptionist slammed the phone down. Bridge Street used to be good. Now it gives its profession a bad name. Strongly recommend you do not register with them unless you're prepared to be naively uncritical and compliant. Always

Very poor. I recently had to go to a private GP for help after getting none from my GP, Dr Bakker. Without asking to be paid, she called the practice to ensure I got at least the bare minimum of treatment for a severe traumatic incident. More concerned with finances than patient care. If required to go beyond text book matters, at a complete loss. Fail to make imortant referrals or take responsibility for mistakes. Hold, and readily express, prejudicial attitudes. Outdated views. Rude. Misuse their receptionists. Rudeness towards patients is routine by all staff not just GPs. Looking forward to finding an alternative. And still, today, the receptionist couldn't resist being rude 'You're not the only patient'. Obviously. Nor am I the only patient who objects to this routine rudeness.

I’ve been more than 15 years with them and the health care cannot be better. So efficient and rapidly respond. Receptionists are well trained and so patient. I think one of the reason I’ve never moved from cambridge is this medical centre.
