After a whole day out at Legoland, we was looking for local beefeater to the area and came across Bridge Barn, walked in and the smell was awful then got seated and what can only be described the scene from hook where they had the food fight. RED flags but we was all very hungry so we carried on drinks ordered and order placed 30 minutes for the starters which were not bad. Then another 40 minute wait for the mains yes I would expect that If it was busy! but I would say their was less than 10 tables being served. Meals arrived and my son made his own burger which came completely wrong so was taken back then replaced with the wrong one again at this point I picked all the bits out and created his burger he wanted 😅. So my burger was poor flavourless so used the bbq sauce to try salvage it but was poor. My missus had the steak which she asked for medium well but came out still with a pulse. If we hadn't eaten that day we would have definitely left from the smell. Dessert was sticky toffee pudding but that was microwaved and pretty much summed up the experience. The building is in desperate need of a refresh and the chefs need more training. Chips were okay though every cloud.

Staff were super cool and gave us nice seats and prompt service. Food was fresh, piping hot, nicely seasoned and v tasty. Restaurant was clean and had a nice overall vibe. Pub/bar downstairs was nice with a wide variety of alco/non-alco drinks at decent prices.
