Bricksnmortar constructed an extension to our house. The quote was competitive, the work carried out professionally and we were pleased with the result. The relationship with Ernie, Sharon, Barry, John, Richard and the other workers was pleasant. Barry is an excellent bricklayer and Richard excellent carpenter. We were charged as work progressed in sufficient detail and the final bill was exactly as the quote plus only some items that we had asked for or building regs required. There were some delays in getting materials (standard at that time) but Ernie explained the reasons and was always easy to contact.

Bricks and Mortar were great! Ernie and the team were fantastic. Always making sure the site was tidy and we were happy with everything that which was being done every step of the project. They have a wealth of experience and nothing was an issue, with solutions for missing details from engineers. The quality of work is superb and as always the snagging bits were dealt with in an instant. It was a pleasure to have them doing our build. I would recommend them in an instant. In fact, we have other projects which they will be doing later on in the year. Thank you Ernie and team!!

Worked for these guys and got knocked. The main guy is a very unprofessional trades man who doesn't know his stuff as a plaster I was asked to screed a floor to a trowel finish (NOT POWER FLOAT) then I get a call to say it's not smooth enough 😂. I'm going to have to gun it up he said! My reply was I can assure you that the floor is a high quality finish for a trowel finish floor! He's reply was I haven't been there but the customer told me it isn't smooth so I asked him to meet me on site and if there is an issue with the floor I will sort it but I can assure you there isn't as I have before and after photos of the floor in the photos there is a level showing the floor is level and you can see by the picture it's a smooth trowel floor. He replied I am too busy I can't get there today I'm behind on time I need to gun the floor up! I believe this was a lie to cheat me out of paying me for the job. My point is they asked me to screed a floor so I screeded the floor to a high standard troweled finish which I have pictures of for proof, Ernie then called me to say the floor wasn't smooth and that the customer wasn't happy, he is clearly unable to manage the expectations of his customers nor does he know what a screeded floor is! This firm is unprofessional and I would avoid them at any cost!!!
