This one star review is because l can’t even get in to the garden centre due to having gravel on the surface of their car park. I broke my back many years ago and use crutches and leg braces and jump through the crutches which is impossible / dangerous to do on gravel. It’s ridiculous that in 2023 there are still businesses that make entry difficult or impossible.

1 Star simply due to service and treatment from the cafe, not the garden centre itself, which is lovely. My experience in the cafe was as follows: I had lunch with a couple of friends back in March. I ordered a Prawn Sandwich which came with chips and a side of coleslaw. When I recieved my food I asked for more coleslaw as I thought the portion was rather small (see picture). The lady serving us obviously did not like this, went away and got the portion sizing pot, slammed it on the table sternly say "there you go" & walked off. No politeness, no explaination, no offer of "if you would like some more madam I'll gladly get you some but there will be an extra charge, is that ok?". I emailed the centre to question the service I received, got an initial reply that they had forwarded my concern to the restaurant which I responded to that may be it should go higher up, as I believe I was served by the restaurant manager on that day. I have since heard nothing, my visit was in March. I don't mind if the portion I received was the correct size, my umbridge is purely the treatment I received by simply questioning my food. Will never return, as I found the customer care awful.
