Opens at 9 allegedly…… called 7 times in 45min and no one answers. These people aren’t here to help you. They are here to gain experience and move on to private care. Building is completely in welcoming and triggering. Never see the same person twice. Leave feeling completely misunderstood and unheard. You have to help yourself, they cannot and will not help you, this is their job, but it’s your life.

Hello Bridget J. Indeed, this place was wonderful and I miss it terribly. They supported me for seven difficult years and there's not been anything like it since.Unfortunately the BHU closed in 2016 after many appeals from service users. However, some of the staff work for CGL, (google it), who have three centres across Manchester. x

My partners support worker cancelled minutes before she was due then rearranged the appointment weeks later. She doesn't turn up for that appointment and when we tried to call her phone twice doesn't answer her phone but left message and doesn't reply. Tried to call her office but no answers, very poor service needs a complete overhaul.
