Brian is a really good teacher. I've wanted to play guitar for years and tried self learning on and off. I had a specific goal in mind for a talent competition, and about just over a month to achieve it in. I told Brian about this, and he was honest about what could be achieved and advised how many lessons I would likely need, based on listening to my current playing. He was able to offer flexible times for lessons. He is very supportive and encouraging, and gives materials to help practice between lessons if you would like. He is very approachable, and knowledgeable about the guitar. The improvements between when I first started looking for lessons a month ago, to now is amazing. I knew some cords but I was pretty much a beginner. I can now play and sing along to a specific song I was aiming to learn. Strumming patterns, singing in a tune with my guitar, why certain cords worked better than others for sound. All things I'd of never been able to do myself or by learning at home watching videos. Lessons are taylor made, based on specifics of where you are starting at, and what works for you, and what you'd like to achieve from lessons. I wish I'd of had lessons years ago. I've made more progress with Brian over the past month, than I have in the past few years by myself, and various teachers when I was at school. Really recommend Brian for lessons, he's very kind, knowledgable and great value for money. I'm going to continue lessons with Brian, I'm excited to learn new things and see my progress long term. He's very local to people living in CalderDale too. Anyone thinking of learning or improving on guitar, should try Brians' lessons, it's very worth it.

If you want to excel at guitar then this is the place to be! Right from the first lesson I was blown away by Brian`s sharp eye and knowledge. He gives me the right exercises and songs that help me improve as a musician and since I have been going to him, my skills have improved HUGELY! He really is the best teacher and I am very grateful for his knowledge that he shares so freely. If you are looking to improve your skills and you are willing to put in the work, then this is the place to be :)
